En cuanto llegas al muelle de Poncis y conoces a Liset y Andres, te das cuenta que vas a vivir algo muy especial. Hay una vibra que rodea todo el ambiente. Hemos estado alojados en una de las casitas que se encuentra encima del mar, las vistas espectaculares a cualquier hora del día, rodeado de peces, estrellas de mar y pájaros! Poder levantarte por la mañana y darte un baño, es una experiencia única!
Conocer a Liset y Andrés y poder compartir con ellos las tertulias hace que nuestra estancia haya sido aún más especial. Ver cómo han levantado Ponci con sus propias manos es fantástico!
Momentos como la noche de barbacoa o pizzas (hecho todo por ellos) son especiales y únicos!
Lugar 100x100 recomendable!

Descubrir Ponci ha sido una de las experiencias más maravillosas. Conocer a Liset y Andres ha sido un verdadero placer! Hemos compartido un sin fin de momentos únicos: durante las comidas, las sobremesas y las excursiones. Sin duda un lugar para relajarse y desconectar, es un paraíso! Las noches de barbacoa y pizzas han sido muy especiales y deliciosas! Muchas gracias a los dos por dejarnos compartir vuestro pequeño paraíso! Hasta pronto!

This was our first island stop for 3 nights at the beginning of our holiday and it was a wonderful introduction to Panama. Liset and Andres are the best hosts you could wish for. It felt like being looked after by your family rather than people you had just met. Liset and one of her son’s, Raphael, met us from the airport and on that first journey Liset gave us information about the islands we passed by. Andres was equally as welcoming when we arrived and showed us to our beautiful cabin on the water. Their other son, Martin, then arrived with a welcoming cold drink. We were spoilt from the start.
The food provided at mealtimes is in abundance; you will not be hungry! Fresh fruit, and a variety of evening meals, including Andres’s delicious pizzas were all carefully cooked. Liset has even provided for one of us being vegan.
Raphael took us on walks in the jungle and also on a tour to zapatilla conservation area where he showed us around the island and took us to a snorkelling area on the island.
Liset showed me her crystal collection and I made a bracelet with her before we left, which is a lovely memory of our time there.
The family could not do enough to make our stay relaxed and although we were the only couple there at the time, they were not intrusive and we could spend time outside our cabin, listening to the birds and watching the the sea.
The family also have 4 beautiful dogs, which we loved to make a fuss of but the couple will keep them out of your way if you prefer.
They transported us to our next island and Raphael came with us to ensure we went to the right place. We were sad to leave and having been there, we would have liked to stay a little longer.
We said as we left, this is not goodbye, it’s until we meet again.

We stayed here for two days and it was truly an unforgettable experience. We really wished we could have stayed much longer. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness and immediately felt like part of the family.
We were incredibly well taken care of in every way – from amazing food to help with any questions or activity ideas. No one misses out here. We saw so many different animals, which alone made the stay very special. One of the sons went diving with us and showed us the fascinating underwater world, while the other son took us on an impressive jungle tour – both were absolute highlights of our stay.
We also enjoyed a fascinating introduction to crystals and even learned about the process of making cacao using their own cacao fruits from the garden. We were completely spoiled when it came to food. Every morning we had a delicious breakfast with fresh fruits straight from the garden and homemade, freshly baked bread. Dinner was just as amazing – the different pizzas from the homemade stone oven was simply a dream.
The entire stay felt incredibly light and carefree. Just sitting in the bungalow and listening to the sounds of nature was pure relaxation. In the ocean, we were able to see dolphins, coral reefs, and an impressive variety of marine life. At night, we could see bioluminescence directly from our bungalow, which was absolutely spectacular. The starry sky was breathtaking as well.
Getting there is also quite easy: we simply took a water taxi from Bocas Town to Loma Partida, where we were picked up by Andres and Liset.
For our return, we booked a private transfer directly to Almirante through the hosts. They truly do everything possible to make your stay unique and unforgettable.
We would have loved to stay longer, but we will definitely be back. Thank you so much for this wonderful, unique and unforgettable stay! ♥️

Un paraíso!!! Maravilloso lugar, muy disfrutable en Isla Popa la mas alejada y exuberante. Pasamos 14 dias disfrutando a pleno de la naturaleza, de los tours en bote a Cayo Zapatilla, finca de Chocolate y a Red Frog ademas de talleres holisticos de cristales, oraculos, meditación y Reiki. Excelente atención y servicio, muy completo!!! Atención personalizada.

We spent several days of our vacation at Ponci's Gate to Gaia in the amazing Isla Popa. We had found the place online thanks to excellent reviews. We found this accommodation even better than we had imagined!!! Paradise!
The facilities are beautiful, we stayed in an overwater bungalow called The Dolphin with amazing sunset and sunrise views and direct ladder to go into the water. Everything is very well-maintained, clean, and you got everything necessary for a spectacular time.
The staff makes you feel at home, like family.
The food is super delicious! A variety of specialties, pizzas with different flavors, delicious!!! Breakfast are amazing and varied.
There are several activities to do, such as snorkeling, paddleboarding, boating, and jungle trails. We took the private tours to Cayo Zapatilla, Playa Estrella, Red Frog and a Chocolate farm. We highly recommend staying at Ponci’s Gate to Gaia and taking their boat specialized tours.

I stayed at this resort for a few weeks on 2 different occasions and i can truly say that it was such a rewarding experience. From watching dolphins jump out of the water just meters from us to swimming out to see small and colorful fish it was such a rewarding experience. At this place i truly felt a connection with nature and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for relaxation, good food, a unique experience and ultimately wanting to connect with nature in such a beautiful environment. I really look forward to going back and am already planning my next getaway!

Que días maravillosos! Fueron realmente inolvidables. El paisaje es espectacular, comimos increíble, recuerdo cada plato y las pizzas! Las charlas con L y A tan ricas y divertidas!

Recomiendo mucho la estadía con Ponci's gate to Gaia, Un lugar maravilloso por donde lo mires, naturaleza, buena vibra, calidez de sus dueños, animales increíbles. Amanecer admirando el mar con los delfines saltando, las aves volando, los peces que literalmente nadan debajo de tus pies, los corales y tanta flora y fauna espectacular! Ponci's, Andres y sus hijos son seres amorosos que te hacen sentir muy cómodos en su hogar, brindando todo su esmero y Amor para que pases una estadía increíble, dan ganas de quedarse mucho tiempo más y volver siempre, la comida deliciosa, las frutas únicas, no olvidaré los licuados de frutas tropicales! Además de tanta belleza natural y las excursiones imperdibles, es un lugar donde podes conectar contigo misma, Ponci's conoce tantas sanciones energéticas, y tuve la buena suerte de experimentar Reiki Arcoiris con ella, lectura de cartas, sanación con cristales y hasta masajes corporales y faciales con aromaterapia, me quedarán los recuerdos por siempre en mi corazón y espero volver muy pronto!
