Rooted in Serenity: A Guide to Tree of Life Meditation with Earthing

Tree of Life

Earthing is a wonderful practice that allows us to connect with the Earth's energy and find balance and grounding in our lives. When combined with the Tree of Life meditation, it can be a powerful way to center ourselves and find inner peace.

The Tree of Life is so  important in our journey that it’s in our logo.

Here is a step-by-step guide to practicing the Tree of Life meditation:

1. Find a quiet and peaceful outdoor location where you can stand barefoot on a natural surface such as grass or sand. This will allow you to connect with the Earth's energy more effectively.

2. Stand in mountain pose (Tadasana), with your feet hip-width apart, arms relaxed by your sides, and spine straight. Close your eyes and take a moment to center yourself.

3. Take a few deep breaths, inhaling deeply through your nose and exhaling slowly through your mouth. Focus your attention on your breath, allowing it to anchor you in the present moment.

4. Direct your attention to your feet. Visualize roots growing from the soles of your feet and extending deep into the ground. Imagine these roots penetrating through layers of earth and rock, reaching all the way to the hot core of the Earth.

5. Pause here and feel the connection between your roots and the Earth's energy. Experience the grounding and stability that comes from this connection. Take a moment to appreciate the support and nourishment the Earth provides.

6. Begin to bring your focus back up your roots, drawing the Earth's energy up with you on each breath. Visualize this energy as a warm, golden light rising through your roots and into your body.

7. As the energy reaches the top of your head, imagine it branching out like the branches of a tree. Feel the leaves and branches growing higher and wider, forming a wide canopy above you.

8. Visualize your leaves absorbing light and energy from the cosmos, allowing it to flow down through your branches and back into your body. Feel this energy spiraling into your solar plexus and spreading throughout your entire being.

9. Stay in this state for a few minutes, continuing to breathe deeply and consciously. Feel the connection between Heaven and Earth within you, and allow this energy to nurture and replenish your mind, body, and spirit.

10. When you are ready to end the meditation, gently bring your attention back to your breath. Take a moment to express gratitude for the experience and the connection you have cultivated.

Practicing the Tree of Life meditation with earthing can be a powerful way to find balance, center yourself, and cultivate a deep sense of connection with both the Earth and the cosmos. You can try this meditation sitting in nature as well. Hope you can try it and feel its benefits
